This bag used to be a life raft. The life rafts' material was destined for landfill. The coated polyester is not biodegradable or recyclable. We saw an opportunity to give a second life to the raft and have remanufactured it into the 'Olena Bag', our giant, carry all tote bag. We loved the vivid orange of the material, and how each bag is individual and unique. The reflective strips are random, and the material holds the beautiful patina of its first life.
Handmade in Scotland with polyester outer, reused webbing handles, and polyester lining. All saved from landfill.
