A Better Coffee Habit Has Arrived at Our Flagship Store

Coffee is part of daily life for so many of us. But the environmental impact of takeaway culture has become impossible to ignore. Disposable cups are used for minutes and discarded for years, with millions ending up in landfill every single day.

We wanted to create something better.

That’s why our flagship store in Dornoch is launching a new coffee experience built around reuse, quality, and long-term habits — not single-use convenience.

Reusable Cups Made From Waste

At the centre of the launch is our new reusable cup system which is of course made in the UK. Our cups are made using production waste — materials that would otherwise be thrown away and sent to landfill. Instead of becoming waste, they’re transformed into durable cups designed to be used again and again.
But this isn’t just another reusable cup.

Each one includes a built-in habit tracker. You can name your cup, tick off your visits, and physically see the number of disposable cups you’ve avoided using over time.

The goal is simple: turn sustainability from an occasional choice into an everyday habit.

And to encourage real change, all takeaway coffees will now require a reusable cup. Customers can bring their own or start their journey with one of ours.

Coffee Worth Reusing a Cup For

We’ve partnered with a Scottish roastery that shares our focus on craftsmanship, quality, and sustainability.

Every coffee served in store is roasted in Scotland with care and precision, creating rich, balanced flavours that deserve more than a throwaway cup. Supporting independent roasting also means supporting a more thoughtful and transparent coffee supply chain.

Great coffee should feel good in every sense — from taste to impact.

Milk in Reusable Glass Bottles

We’ve also rethought what happens behind the counter.
Our milk is supplied in reusable glass bottles rather than single-use plastic containers. Once used, the bottles are collected, cleaned, and reused again as part of a circular system that dramatically reduces waste.
It’s a small detail that reflects a much bigger mindset:
designing every part of the coffee experience to create less waste and more long-term value.

Sustainability doesn’t have to mean perfection. It starts with simple repeated actions.
